Sustainability is a major consideration for businesses today. But it's not just about making sure you meet responsibilities imposed by legislation. A pro-active approach to environmental issues can bring direct benefits to a business - economically, commercially and through improved staff motivation.
We are excited to announce that we have launched our new REDUCE Sustainability Tool. It will help you work out what sustainability really means for your business, what goals you want to set and how to achieve them in your very own bespoke sustainability action plan.
The REDUCE tool is made up of six pillars:
Develop new business
It covers a wide range of topics including transportation, waste management, recycling, reducing water and energy consumption, motivating employees, potential risks and how you can use your 'green credentials' in marketing.
Once you have created your plan you can format it into a Word document or a PDF file that can be used in business planning sessions or team meetings and it can help you prepare for contracts that require an environmental policy as part of the tender process.
We apologise but we are not able to transfer the content of your existing plan to the new sustainability tool. We recommend you take this opportunity to refresh your plans by starting a new version now our new tool has launched.
What is sustainability and what can it do for your business?
We have developed the REDUCE framework to help you shape your business' sustainability plan. Our Business and Environment managers, trained in a programme developed in association with Cambridge University, are on hand to help you explore sustainability issues. Just ask your Relationship Manager for an introduction today.
